Are they or aren’t they? That’s what everyone wants to know about Tom Cruise and actress Ana de Armas, who have recently been linked together as they join forces to work on some upcoming project. Both parties have been very tight-lipped about their potential relationship — but now, de Armas, 37, has recently opened up about her rumored boyfriend, 62.
“It’s so much fun, and we’re definitely working on a lot of things,” the actress explained about herself and the Mission: Impossible star during her May 15 appearance on Good Morning America. “Not just one, but a few projects with Doug Liman and [Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning director] Christopher McQuarrie and, of course, Tom. I’m so excited.”
Cruise is currently set to star in an untitled SpaceX feature that he is writing alongside Liman and McQuarrie. The Knives Out star is not attached to the project at this time, but considering the fact that she and Cruise have seemingly been spending a lot of time together, anything can happen.
Most recently, the pair were spotted flying in a helicopter together in London — one that Cruise himself was flying, by the way — at the end of April. They first turned heads when they were seen in London’s Soho neighborhood after enjoying a dinner together the day before Valentine’s Day. One month later, they sparked romance rumors again when they were seen arriving at the London heliport together via chopper.
Previously, Cruise was married three times. He was with Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001, and Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012. He shares two children — Isabella, 32, and Conner, 30, — with Kidman, 57, and youngest child Suri, 19, with Holmes, 46. As for de Armas, she has been linked to Ben Affleck, Tinder exec Paul Boukadakis, and Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez’s stepson Manuel Anido Cuesta prior to Cruise.
