THE Philadelphia Eagles have been handed a schedule worthy of NFL champions.
The Super Bowl winners featured heavily in this week’s schedule release for the 2025 season.
Philadelphia was given the type of treatment the NFL usually reserves for ratings powerhouses like the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys.
The entire slate for the new season was released Wednesday night.
Select marquee matchups were unveiled through the early part of the week by networks.
By Tuesday morning, six games for 2025 were confirmed.
And four of those six contests included the Philadelphia Eagles.
Fans were forgiven for wondering if the Eagles were the only team playing in prime time.
ESPN announced a Monday Night Football game on November 10 on Tuesday morning.
That featured the Philadelphia Eagles against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
A day earlier, the NFL’s kickoff game in Philly was confirmed.
The Eagles will raise their championship banner and begin the new season on September 4.
Their opponent will be their NFC East division rival the Dallas Cowboys.
Philly also featured in two more announcements made on Monday.
Amazon Prime Video revealed their Black Friday game on November 28 will be at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Chicago Bears will be the Eagles’ opponents for the holiday showdown.
And Fox also announced a Saturday doubleheader on December 20.
The Philadelphia Eagles will visit their NFC East foe Washington Commanders in their last game before Christmas.
Philly learned the rest of their schedule Wednesday night.
And the highly-anticipated Super Bowl rematch will take place in Week 2.
Fresh from raising their championship banner on September 4, the Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on September 14.
That game will be on Fox’s late afternoon window, eight months after the same network showed the Super Bowl.
