With the Broncos’ 2025 schedule fully revealed Wednesday, The Denver Post’s Broncos crew assembled to dole out early projections for a much-anticipated year in Denver.

Record: 10-7
A year ago, the Broncos started 0-2 before going out on what looked like a daunting road trip. Instead, they won two straight on the East Coast, and it jump-started their season. They have every chance to avoid a winless start this year, but playing four of the first six on the road — including a trip across the Atlantic — is no picnic. If they get through that stretch even or better, then five of their final eight are against the division. It’ll all be in front of them. This team could be better overall than last year’s and finish with a similar record. Or, for that matter, the same record.

Not to be boring and run back the Broncos’ exact line from 2024, but… Denver should be better in 2025, by all reasonable estimations. They probably will be better. They built on an already top-tier defense in free agency, addressed a pass-catching need in Evan Engram, drafted a couple of steady-floor prospects and have a franchise quarterback in tow. But this is a pretty brutal run. Six of the Broncos’ 2025 opponents made the playoffs last year, and you could reasonably project nine or 10 teams to finish with winning records. Plus, as Parker noted, that season-opening road gauntlet could get ugly.

Ten is the floor with Ready. Set, Bo! The Broncos remain in position to knock the annoying Kansas City Chiefs off their AFC West throne. While Bo Nix needed more weapons around him this offseason, running back R.J. Harvey represents an upgrade in the run game, which will prove the difference in a strong finish. There will be hand-wringing over a 3-3 start that includes four road games and the Broncos returning from London without a bye. But with their defense poised to rank among the league’s best, the Broncos will benefit from a late rest and reel off four wins in their final five games to claim their first division title since 2015.

When you land a third-place schedule that’s married to the AFC South (Hi, Travis Hunter!) and NFC East, you’re living right. Even if the Broncos’ injury karma regresses, and the odds say it should, this fight card is manageable. Who, outside of the division opponents and Philly, do you fear? The Burrow Bowl in September should be fun; so will Nix vs. Daniels in late November. If we’re living on The C.J. Stroud Timeline with Bo Nix, all vital signs look good on that front, too. During Stroud’s Year 2 last fall, the Texans went 10-7 and made the playoffs again. On paper, from 5,280 feet and months away, that sounds just about right.
