AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Two juvenile boys were arrested and charged in connection with the homicide of a 20-year-old in early May.
According to the Austin Police Department, 20-year-old Anthony Salas died after he was shot, then hit by a vehicle while he and a family member were trying to recover their stolen vehicle on Saturday, May 3.
Police said it happened in the Sun Chase neighborhood in southeast Travis County around 3:20 a.m. that morning, near the 5400 block of Ross Road, near Del Valle Elementary and Middle School.
APD confirmed on Monday morning that a 12-year-old juvenile male and a 13-year-old juvenile male were arrested in connection with the case.
They were both charged with Capital Murder by Terroristic Threat.
