As Tom Hardy grows older, he's facing the bodily breakdowns that come along with aging with as much grace as one can.
While chatting with Esquire in a brand new profile, the beloved actor shared a candid glimpse at his many "bodily ailments," telling interviewer Miranda Collinge that he's come to accept that things are "not going to get better."
The 47-year-old detailed his painful medical history, involving two knee surgeries, a herniated disc, sciatica, and plantar fasciitis, to start. "Where did that come from? And why? Why?!" he said in frustration.
"And I pulled my tendon in my hip as well," he continued. "It’s like, it’s all falling to bits now, and it’s not going to get better.”
That is, "unless you do all the stem cells…” which is not something he's opposed to trying.
"I think if it comes down to the wire and it seems the sensible thing to do and I take advice,” he explained, he'd give it a shot, though, to the MobLand star's credit, stem cells or no, he doesn't at all look like he's "all falling to bits." Collinge even called him "an undeniably handsome man," which is hard—if not impossible—to argue.
