Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Odisha Assembly Naveen Patnaik called for greater awareness about Thalassaemia, a genetic blood disorder affecting millions globally.
On the occasion of World Thalassaemia Day, the BJD supremo has urged to create a supportive environment for those living with Thalassaemia.
“Thalassaemia is genetic blood disorder that affects millions of people across the globe. On World Thalassaemia Day, let’s raise awareness about the disease and create a supportive environment for those living with the condition”, Naveen wrote on his ‘X’ handle.
