Gujarat Titans (GT) head coach Ashish Nehra exploded in anger, looking at his team's fielding blunders in the 56th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Tuesday, May 6.
Ashish Nehra was also seen bashing the Gujarat Titans players on the field during the timeout for the three dropped catches at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Gujarat Titans opted to field first in the match after winning the toss, and they started on a good note as Sai Sudharsan took a stunning low catch on the second ball of the first over to dismiss in-form Mumbai Indians opener Ryan Rickelton.
However, from thereon, things completely went downhill for the Gujarat Titans on the field. On the fourth ball of the first over, Will Jacks got a reprieve when he was on 0.
Mohammed Siraj bowled a full delivery to Will Jacks on off-stump, and the batter played a crisp drive straight into the hands of Sai Sudharsan, who dropped a simple catch.
Will Jacks got another lifeline on the fifth ball of the sixth over when he was batting at the score of 30. Left-arm pacer Arshad Khan bowled a back-of-a-length delivery on middle and leg to Will Jacks, who flicked it uppishly towards mid-wicket, and Mohammed Siraj put down a straightforward catch.
Before that, in the fifth over, Suryakumar Yadav was given a lifeline when he was batting on 12. On the fifth ball of the over, Suryakumar Yadav flicked a delivery from Prasidh Krishna towards mid-wicket, where Sai Kishore tried to take a reverse cup catch but only managed to palm it over. Washington Sundar hails Ashish Nehra
Speaking in a video shared on IPL's website ahead of the match, spin-bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar lauded Ashish Nehra for building a great team atmosphere in the GT camp. He said:
"Honestly, the way Ashish Nehra has set up the atmosphere from the start of the season, we don't really think too far ahead. We genuinely live by that culture and we are constantly looking to get better. Look at what is required from us and play our role in the team. We have done really well. We will look to do the same thing till the end of the league stage, and there is more to do after that."
Washington Sundar further said that they prepare very well for all the matches of the Indian Premier League. He said:
"One thing you could always expect from GT is we prepare really really well. Not just throughout the season but also coming into the season. Every time we are put in a position where certain things are demander from us, especially the lower-order, I think we have done in the past and we will ready. It's good that the top three are doing the job every game"
