The Arizona Cardinals signed tight end Josiah Deguara to a one-year contract on Monday, the team announced.
Deguara spent last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars and appeared in 15 games.
The tight end was primarily used as a special teamer, seeing 87 offensive snaps to 243 on special teams.
The 28-year-old out of Santa Rosa, California, got his NFL start as a 2020 third-rounder with the Green Bay Packers.
He played four years for Green Bay before signing with Jacksonville.

Deguara’s best statistical season came in 2021 behind 25 catches (33 targets) for 245 yards and two touchdowns.

Deguara now heads to a tight ends room led by star Trey McBride, Tip Reiman, Elijah Higgins and Travis Vokolek.
Undrafted signing Oscar Cardenas also came aboard this offseason, while Arizona moved on from Bernhard Seikovits.
