Huddersfield have confirmed nine first-team players have joined Jonathan Hogg in leaving the club.
The Terriers captain made his final appearance in their 4-1 loss to Leyton Orient last weekend.
Hogg’s departure after 12 years with the club had been confirmed last week.
Huddersfield ended their campaign with a seventh consecutive defeat to finish with eight losses in their last nine.
The managerless side finished tenth in the third tier, their lowest league finish for 17 years.
Alongside Hogg, Huddersfield have also released Danny Ward, Tom Lees, Matty Pearson, Ollie Turton, Josh Ruffels, Josh Koroma, Scott High, Loick Ayina and Conor Falls.
Goalkeeper Chris Maxwell adds to the list of departures after announcing his retirement.
The club’s retained list confirmed that they are set to begin pre-season with 18 first-team players on their books.
It follows the end of four loan spells as Tawanda Chirewa, Joe Hodge, Nigel Lonwijk and Callum Marshall return to their parent clubs.
However, Huddersfield have also confirmed that discussions are ongoing with Neo Eccleston over a new contract.
The 21-year-old spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Barrow before making three League One appearances for the Terriers.
As for Hogg, he joined the West Yorkshire outfit from Watford back in 2013 and won promotion to the Premier League four years later.

Meanwhile, the home defeat to Orient marked his 410th match for the club.
Across those appearances, he scored six goals and provided nine assists from midfield.
Hogg also spent his final four years at the John Smith Stadium as club captain.
Chairman Kevin Nagle hailed his contributions ahead of the 35-year-old’s final appearance.
In a statement on the club’s website, Nagle explained: “This is an emotional moment for us all as we show our love and sincere gratitude for a player who has embodied everything it is to represent Huddersfield Town.
“A captain, legend and enduring figure for all associated with the club, it is only correct that we give Jonathan the send-off a player and a person of his calibre has earned after leading the team with such distinction.”
Huddersfield will now focus on appointing a new manager for their second season back in League One.
Jon Worthington has been in interim charge since Michael Duff’s dismissal in March.
The academy boss won just two of his ten matches at the helm of the first-team.
