Baby on board?
Simone Biles opened up about the possibility of “building a family” with her husband, Jonathan Owens.
“I’ve always wanted to be a mother,” the Olympic gold medalist, 28, gushed in an interview with E! News at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 3.
“[We’re] enjoying the process,” Owens, 29, joked. “That’s all I could say.”

Considering Biles and Owens are both decorated athletes, the gymnast suggested their kids may be “powerful and athletic,” but they’ll be happy either way.
“If they turn into musicians, who cares?” Biles said. “That is still phenomenal.”
The Columbus, Ohio, native continued, “We are obviously gonna put them in sports in the beginning so they get their bearings and learn. But other than that, we don't really care what they do as long as they find their passion.”
This isn’t the first time Biles talked about having children with Owens.
“Me and Jonathan always talk about kids,” she revealed during an August 2024 interview with Today. “He would have had them yesterday if he could have. Obviously, we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family, but yes, that’s definitely in our future.”

Biles and Owens, who is an NFL safety for the Chicago Bears, met in March 2020 through the celebrity dating app Raya. During lockdown for the COVID-19 pandemic, they were able to date freely out of the public eye.
Come February 2022, the pair announced their engagement. Biles and Owens got married on April 22, 2023, in a courthouse ceremony in Texas. The lovebirds later celebrated with friends and family in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in May of that same year.
