Reba McEntire is using her voice in what she called an "important" new role that she recently picked up.
On Monday, the 70-year-old multihyphenate–who is also serving as this year's Academy Music Awards host–was revealed to be a part of a new project that draws from "real homebuyers' experience" to "offer something many homebuyers haven’t felt in years: optimism."

The episodic series highlights "the relatable ups and downs of the home buying and selling process" and is part of an ongoing campaign with Realtor.com that aims "to make home search feel more human, more hopeful and less overwhelming" through an unknown number of sitcom-style commercials set to air in the coming weeks.
Reba McEntire teams up with Realtor.com on sitcom-style commercial series, 'Nearly Home.'"As the most trusted brand in real estate and the brand most trusted by real estate professionals, partnering with Reba McEntire was an easy choice," said Mickey Neuberger, chief marketing officer at Realtor.com, in a statement. "She’s got the trust, the charm and the boots-on-the-ground wisdom to bring a genuine sense of reassurance, and a little humor, to our message."
"She helps us remind people that finding a home shouldn’t feel impossible," Neuberger added, "it should feel like coming home."
In the first "episode" of the company's partnership with Reba, the Happy's Place star gives a couple arguing over their need for "more space" some "relatable real-talk," suggesting through a bit of "tough love" that Realtor.com's RealListings, RealCommute, RealChoice Selling, and RealView Maps tools can "make all the difference" when trying to "uncomplicate" the oftentimes tedious and stressful task of searching for a new home.
"As I learned more about Realtor.com®, I saw how they have amazing tools for home buyers and sellers, are the most trusted site by real estate professionals and have over 500,000 new listings a month – and I was sold… pun intended!” The Queen of Country added. “A home brings a sense of comfort, relief and belonging that everyone deserves."
Reba also wishes the new ad slots "will help people become more positive, energized and hopeful about their home search."
"When it comes to something as important as your home," she said, "you want the best team on your side."
