1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton broke down after her arrest in an emotional moment with her sister, Tammy Slaton.
In a sneak peek clip clip TLC shared exclusively with Parade ahead of the May 6 episode, the Slaton sisters got brutally honest about Amy's September 2024 arrest.

"I'm not saying I don't want to be around my siblings, it's just sometimes they can be a lot," Amy told her older sister while meeting at a coffee shop. "Like, I'm used to doing my own thing. I'm independent now."
To that, Tammy told producers in a confessional, "With everything that's going on with her, it's a little crazy coming out of Amy's mouth because being arrested is not independent. I think she needs to quit being in denial."
As Amy, 37, and Tammy, 38, were catching up, Amy said she's been busy taking care of her two young boysGage, 4, and Glenn, 2, and "trying to stay out of trouble."
"The fact that I could have lost my kids..." Amy added while shaking her head and being at a loss for words.
Tammy then admitted, "That was scary for me. So I can't even imagine—can not imagine—how scary it was for you."
At that point, Amy started crying. She wiped away tears with shaking hands as she processed her legal trouble.
"This is the first time I broke down since like..." she told Tammy. "Those two are the most, they're the reasons why I'm alive."
In a joint sit-down with producers, Tammy told her sister, "You talked about for years, that's what you always wanted was to be a mommy. And now you can go to jail for who knows how long. And that's scary."
On Sept. 2, Amy and her boyfriend, Brian Lovvorn, were arrested for "illegal possession of Schedule I, illegal possession of Schedule VI, and two counts of child endangerment" after she was allegedly bitten by a camel at Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo, Tenn.
Deputies "were immediately overtaken by suspicious odors" coming from Amy's vehicle after they arrived on the scene, according to a news release from the Crockett County Sheriff's Department. They reportedly "found psychedelic mushrooms and marijuana in her car" and two kids, TMZ reported. Amy and Lovvorn were booked and released from jail the following day on $10,000 bonds.
In December, Amy pleaded guilty to simple possession of Schedule I and Schedule VI drugs, the Los Angeles Times reported. She received a suspended sentence of 11 months and 29 days.
