Even the most adventurous foodies were given pause as Instagrammer markie_devo taste-tested a bizarre new candy in a recent Instagram video.
"Bacon gummies, what the helly?" he introduced it, referencing a viral TikTok sound as he dug into several different candies sent to him courtesy of American Licorice.
First up were Blue Raz Lemonade-flavored Sour Punch Filled Straws, which he applauded for their true level of sour. “It’s really good,” he declared, rating it a five before moving onto the Cherry Limeade flavor.
“Seriously impressed with this line,” he commended. “So sour.” The cherry limeade flavor also earned a five.
After trying out a set of gummy peace signs in different flavors from Red Vines (rated a four), he finally gave the people what they were waiting for: the Sour Punch Bacon Bites, which are advertised as “sweet, savory, sour.”
“It smells like bacon dog treats,” the social media influencer laughed before finally popping one in his mouth, requesting that his viewers “wish me forking luck.”
“Not good,” he declared, unsure what exactly he was tasting and refusing to rate them.

Fans were equally disgusted, with one candidly asserting, "No amount of gardening could make those sour bacon bites taste good ????."
The OP agreed that they're "so bad!?," however, he confirmed that "the sour ones are amazing."
"Yeah I try anything bacon but I don't know if I would even try those," someone else admitted.
Another saw the prank potential in the new treats, commenting, "I hope the bacon ones will be in Dollar Tree! So it would be [a] good prank for my friends."
"When you said it smelled like dog treats; reminded me of the bacon scented Yankee Candles," they added.
One, however, was game for the bizarre new candy, demanding, "Send me the bacon bites!!!"
