Bree Carlson, Huntington Beach, 1B, So.
Carlson had four home runs and 15 RBIs as the Oilers went 2-2 at the Best of the West tournament in Santa Maria.
Eliana Corona, La Habra, C, Fr.
Corona hit a go-ahead, two-run home run in the sixth inning to help the Highlanders defeat visiting Sonora 3-1 to capture the Freeway League title. The following day, she went 2 for 3 with a home run in a 5-1 win at Sonora.
Delaney Faus, Cypress, P, Sr.
The San Jose State-bound Faus fired a three-hit shutout against El Modena in the Crestview League and pitched two scoreless innings against Villa Park in a nonleague victory. She also went 3 for 4 with four RBIs against Villa Park.
Cassidy Stinnett, Capistrano Valley, P., Jr.
Stinnett tossed consecutive five-hit shutouts against Mission Viejo and Tesoro to lead the Cougars into first place in the South Coast League. In the two games, she struck out 10.
Hannah Stolba, Edison, OF/2B, So.
Stolba went 2 for 3 with a home run and two runs to help the Chargers upset first-place Los Alamitos 10-3 in the Sunset League. She leads the Chargers with a .446 batting average.
