Nailing the formula for a perfectly crafted iced coffee at home is tough. If any of the proportions of your ingredients are off, you run the risk of ending up with something that’s too strong, too weak or just not right. But there’s a new viral iced mocha trick blowing up on TikTok that solves all of those potential issues. The best part? It’s super easy to pull off.
The hack comes courtesy of TikTok food content creator Gloria of @_gloyoyo_, who came up with this trick after being left with “soupy” brownies when she tried to put a Lindt Lindor extra dark chocolate truffle in the batter. That failed experiment led to a delicious success in the form of a stellar, quick-and-easy iced mocha. Here's what you need to know.

There are so many reasons to love this chocolate coffee hack. For starters, it’s the perfect solution to getting the coffee-to-chocolate ratio just right. Just drop in one truffle with every cup of coffee.
Secondly, it’s not messy. The only thing you'll need to clean up is the used coffee pod and the chocolate candy wrapper.
Last but not least, Lindt Lindor chocolate truffles have the perfect formulation for coffee. The thin chocolate shell and creamy chocolate center really give the coffee a luxurious flavor and texture. Oh, and this hack also makes good use of something you may already have around your house, which basically means you’re working hard to combat food waste—go you!
And as Gloria so astutely pointed out, adding chocolate to coffee is also just a fun thing to try. “I love when things work,” she joked after pulling off her genius idea. We support!
Fans hopped into the comments to cheer her on. “You should open up your own coffee shop. I’d go every day and spend all the money I don’t have if you did,” said one. “Now this is a choccy coffee I would drink up every day,” added another.

How to Make Iced Mochas with Lindt Lindor Chocolate Truffles
This iced coffee trick is incredibly simple. Get a glass and put a Lindt Lindor extra dark chocolate truffle inside. Then, pour two shots of espresso over the candy. Swirl the coffee until the truffle melts. (If you’re concerned about chocolate chunks, you can use a milk frother to blend the mixture up to a smooth consistency.) Add plenty of ice and top it off with a little milk. Stir and drink up!
While Gloria used a Lindt Lindor extra dark truffle, this drink hack could theoretically work with other kinds of chocolate candy. Other Lindor truffle flavors would work well. We're thinking the chocolate peppermint would be great around the holidays, but you could pick up a pack of assorted truffles and experiment with white chocolate, milk chocolate and chocolate caramel. If you want to branch out a bit, you could try your favorite chocolate bar or even some mini Reese’s peanut butter cups. You’re really only limited by your imagination!
