Lainey Wilson is headed to the big screen.
The Grammy-winning singer, 32, is set to make her feature film debut in the upcoming adaption of Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel Reminders of Him, according to Variety.
The movie is being described as a "transformative feature film about motherhood, forgiveness and the power of one love to heal even the most shattered heart." It follows a woman named Kenna Rowan (Maika Monroe), who returns home after serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake in hopes to reconnect with her 4-year-old daughter.
Not everyone is so happy to see her back, however. The only person in her life still willing to give her the time of day is a local bar owner named Ledger Ward (Tyriq Withers), who becomes an important part of Kenna’s life. The cast also includes Lauren Graham, Rudy Pankow, Bradley Whitford and Nicholas Duvernay.
Wilson is no stranger to acting, though, as she had a memorable recurring role in season 5 of Yellowstone as Abby, a musician. In fact, creator Taylor Sheridan wrote the role for her after some of her music was featured earlier on in the series.
Universal Studios is aiming for Reminders of Him to hit theaters February 13, 2026, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
