A parenting influencer who goes by "Mama D" online posted a video to Instagram of their family's Law & Order-themed birthday party that they threw for their 1-year-old daughter Maxine. It drew attention not only from the official Law & Order account but also from Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay herself.
Hargitay posted the video to her Instagram stories, and the official Law & Order Instagram account commented on it, "This is LEGENDARY." Ryan Buggle, the actor who plays Olivia Benson's son Noah on SVU, commented, "Happy birthday, Maxine! Epic!"

It truly is rather epic — the party has both "Sweetened Ice-T" and "Unsweetened Ice-T," "evidence bags" and case file folders as party favors, "Stabler's Table-r" for the guest book and "Detective Munch-ies" on the snack table.
The "Detective's Training Academy" was an obstacle course for toddlers, and there was a "murder board" complete with strings that had the sign "These are her stories" and featured photos of Maxine's first year of life labeled things like "guilty faces" and "flight risk."
The sign welcoming people to the party read, "Maxine is turning 1 DUN DUN. Welcome to the season one premiere of Maxine. We're so happy you're here to celebrate and help us solve all of our open cases. Grab your evidence bag and get to solving! Don't forget to fuel up on some Law and Hors D'oeuvres."
On the Instagram caption, Mama D wrote, "We had so much fun planning this party, and the day of was just perfect. Hope you enjoy seeing everything come together ?❤️?."
After Hargitay shared the video on her Instagram stories, Mama D reposted the share and wrote, "That's it, our lives are complete."
Commenters on the post are absolutely losing it, with one writing, "This is the best thing I've ever seen," and another posting, "I fear this idea may be stolen…by me ?."
