Judd Trump sure knows how to whip the crowd into a comedic frenzy.
And it was no more evident than at the 2022 World Snooker Championship when Trump took on Stuart Bingham in the quarter-finals.
It was Bingham who dominated the opening stages as he raced out to an 8-3 lead.
However, Trump rallied back into form and soon levelled the contest at 8-8 going into the break.
But it wasn’t his comeback that was the talk of the town inside the Crucible.
Instead, it was an equally hilarious and iconic moment in the 15th frame.
Trump unfortunately managed to snooker himself when his white ball settled near the pink.
It was not an ideal situation to be in given it blocked Trump from taking a clear shot at the brown.
As Trump pondered how to escape his predicament, a patron coughed.
And when that same patron coughed a second time, Trump seized his moment.
Trump gained the attention of referee Ben Williams and pointed in the direction of the crowdmember.
With Williams distracted, Trump saw his chance and moved the pink out of the way so he could take a clean shot at the brown.

“Fantastic,” Hendon said.
“Ben Williams fell right for that, didn’t he?
“‘Look away, I’ll move the pink.’
“Things are turning round maybe for Trump, he’s enjoying it suddenly.”
Hendon added: “Well, that was like something out of a sitcom.”

Trump’s remarkable comeback showed no signs of slowing down as he ran out a 13-8 victor having rattled off a remarkable 10 unanswered frames.
The No. 4 seed squeezed past Mark Williams 17-16 in the semi-final but unfortunately fell short at the final hurdle against Ronnie O’Sullivan, meaning he failed to add to his 2019 world title.
