Vaibhav Suryavanshi's extraordinary journey:
It is quite clear from a very early stage that Vaibhav Suryavanshi is destined for bigger things in life. At an age when budding cricketers are still learning the basics of the game, Suryavanshi has been taking bowlers much older than him to the cleaners.
He grabbed the attention of the cricketing world for the first time when he made his Ranji Trophy debut for Bihar at the age of only 12 in January last year. Later in October, he grabbed the headlines once again when he scored a 58-ball century for India Under-19 against Australia in a Youth Test at the age of 13.
He was also a part of India's squad for the Under-19 Asia Cup. Towards the end of the year, he became the youngest-ever player to get an IPL contract. So far, he has played 5 first-class games and 6 List A games.
