American Pickers stars Mike Wolfe and Danielle Colby marked the end of an era with photos and statements about a major career move.
On April 26, Wolfe appeared in person at his Antique Archaeology store in Nashville, Tenn., as it prepared to close its doors for good. The last day the location was open was April 27.

The History Channel star, 60, took to Instagram with photos from the emotional farewell along with a touching message.
"Mike and the crew were totally overwhelmed and beyond grateful for yesterday’s turn out @antiquearchaeology In Nashville TN," the update began. "Y’all came out in a big way to share stories and say so long to this little shop."
Wolfe's update continued, "Today is the last day we will be open we will be breaking down the shop tomorrow and moving most all of it to @visitleclaire IOWA, the April 27 post continued. "If you haven’t already stop by to say hello and grab something WELL Come on! This isn’t goodbye it’s see you down the road In IOWA and online. ?."

In the comments, Wolfe's followers shared support and sadness over the farewell.
One Instagram wrote, "I'm going to miss you guys! You've been such a wonderful part of the very best of Nashville. Can't wait to see what you get into next❤️."
Another shared, "Your store was so beautiful ? i will miss it big time. I visited a few times and it was mind blowing how it took me to an earlier day. Your gonna be missed Mike❤️?."
Someone else commented, "All the best in the new chapter of the journey!"
Meanwhile, Colby, 49, wrote, "❤️❤️❤️."
On April 27, Wolfe posted a photo in his Instagram Stories, writing, "Epic times yesterday @antiquearchaeology Nashville."

In the featured image, she sat on a couch next to a Gone with the Wind poster and a framed shirt—seemingly at the Nashville Antique Archaeology store—with other treasures around her.
Colby declared, "Feels❤️," in her April 27 upload.

As of writing, Wolfe and Colby are working on another season of American Pickers; so fans can breathe a sigh of relief that the show is not ending anytime soon.
However, Wolfe recently announced he was getting a new History Channel show, in addition to other exciting career news.
Colby, meanwhile, unveiled a major career move of her own in recent weeks.
Exciting things are happening for the history fanatics, that's for sure!
