In a viral video, one of the RCB team members read the meme, joking that one of Chikara’s biggest "tensions" was making sure he’s the first to serve Kohli water during games as Yash Dayal was doing his mike duty.
While those around Chikara laughed at the playful dig, the youngster handled it with a heartwarming and humble response, showing respect and affection for the senior RCB star.
Chikara said in the viral video, “Toh kya ho gaya? Apne bhai ko toh main hi pilaaunga! (What's there in that?)? I'll serve water to my brother!” before ending up with a smile.

After making a strong Ranji Trophy debut with a quickfire 74 against Bengal and playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Chikara is now eagerly waiting for his debut cap in the ongoing IPL 2025. Chikara never went to school and played cricket since the age of 4-5 years.
How Swastik Chikara got the RCB deal at the IPL 2025 Mega Auction?
Swastik was picked by RCB at the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah for his base price of INR 30 lakh. But there was a bit of drama. Actually, RCB made their bid, but the auctioneer, Mallika Sagar, didn’t see that the Delhi Capitals also raised their paddle.
Since players can't be brought back once sold, the deal stayed with RCB. Interestingly, Chikara was signed by the Delhi Capitals in the last season for INR 20 lakh, but he never got a chance to play, and he is still waiting for his chance.
Notably, RCB is in great form this season, winning 6 of their nine games so far in the tournament. They have a perfect record in away games in the ongoing IPL 2025, winning all their 5 games so far.
