Jenelle Evans is catching major heat from Teen Mom fans after defending ex Nathan Griffith after his most recent arrest for domestic violence.
Griffith, who is the father of Evans' middle son, 10-year-old Kaiser, was arrested for "domestic battery by strangulation" and violating his probation on Wednesday, April 24, per multiple outlets. According to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, Griffith, 37, was arrested after getting into a fight with girlfriend Anastasia Biddle, who claims that the Griffith strangled her.
Evans — who dated Griffith from 2013 to 2015 — posted an eight-minute TikTok about what allegedly went down on Wednesday night, claiming that Griffith called her, drunk, after the argument with his 21-year-old girlfriend, "crying his eyes out" in fear that he was going to get arrested for violating his probation. (According to The Ashley, Griffith's probation stems from a different, previous strangulation case against him.)
According to Evans, Griffith said the fight was due to Biddle, 21, thinking he was cheating on her. He denied physically assaulting Biddle, Evans said, noting that Griffith alleged to her that Biddle has "attacked" him multiple times.
Despite Evans' own admission that Griffith hasn't seen Kaiser in two years, she offered him a place to stay amid the drama. (The former Teen Mom 2 star moved from North Carolina to Vegas with her three children last year.)
"I said, 'Listen. You can stay here, you can spend the night. You can stay in Kaiser's room because he has a queen-sized bed, and in a few days you gotta figure out what you're doing,'" she recalled telling Griffith over the phone, before the police arrived at his home.

Evans continued to tell Griffith's side of the story in her TikTok video, claiming that he was on FaceTime with his mother, Doris Davidson, when the altercation took place, and that Biddle told his mother, "Look, he just got on top of me, he didn't strangle me, but it scared me, so then I called the police." (Biddle, for her part, later shared a screenshot from a text exchange with Davidson. Per Biddle's Instagram Story, Davidson allegedly texted Biddle, "Well, you told me Nate didn't strangle you and they have him charged on domestic battery by strangulation." On the top of the screenshot, Biddle wrote, "I called you first man.")
Evans further claimed in the TikTok that police told Griffith that Biddle was also "placed in handcuffs" and was also charged for domestic violence for allegedly biting Griffith. Per Evans' account, police were allegedly asking Griffith to show them the injuries but he refused to leave the house. (The cops eventually entered the home and arrested Griffith.)
While Evans believes "it's equally both their faults in my opinion," she also "had her spy do a little research" into Biddle, revealing where she is from and pulling up her own mug shot and former criminal history.
Fans were fuming.
"This video is one of the most disturbing things I've seen," one person posted on Reddit, writing a lengthy list of troubling statements Evans made in the TikTok, including "offer[ing] to let a drunk Nathan share a bed with Kaiser ... claim[ing] the victim is lying about the extent of the abuse ... provid[ing] the victim's first and last name, her age, her hometown, and showed a photo of her."
"Not the victim blaming and 100% putting out this girls entire identity ?," another person wrote.
"Girl. You are more worried about men and their feelings than you are about what’s best for your own kid," a third fan said. "To waltz him back in when he’s drunk in the middle of the night is WILD."
Another social media user was grateful police arrived before Griffith went over to Evans' home.
"thankfully Nathan did NOT come to your house, drunk, after not seeing his kid for 2 years, and then allowed to share a room with his kid," they penned. "cause that would NOT be good for his son. or any of the kids."
Another fan recalled how Evans has repeatedly called 911 on her eldest son, Jace, for allegedly "smashing everything" in their house — but was offering to let Griffith stay at their home. (Jace was temporarily removed from Evans' care in October 2024 after the first incident; Evans called police for the same reason again earlier this month.)
"She kicked out Jace but invited a drunk, crying, destructive, VIOLENT ex to stay with her. Ugh," the Redditor wrote.
