If you were a kid growing up in the ‘90s, there’s a good chance Clarissa Explains It All was one of your favorite programs on Nickelodeon.
The series, which ran for five seasons from 1991 to 1994, starred a young Melissa Joan Hart as Clarissa Darling. You may, however, also remember Jason Zimbler.
Zimbler, 47, played Ferguson, Clarissa’s know-it-all, annoying little brother. The former child actor got his start on the soap opera The Edge of Night in the early 80s.

In photos obtained by The U.S. Sun, Zimbler was spotted on a rare outing in Queens, New York, on Wednesday, April 16.
In the pictures, Zimbler is seen wearing a casual outfit while grabbing a cup of coffee.
It’s been more than three decades since Zimbler’s departure from Hollywood. Since then, he went on to receive an education, earning degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Brooklyn College, and Columbia University.
As to whether or not Zimbler still keeps in touch with Melissa Joan Hart, the Sabrina the Teenage Witch actress, 49, revealed the answer in a May 2024 interview.

“I don't talk to any of the Clarissa cast,” Hart told People at the time. “The cast just kind of all went in different directions and nobody kept in touch.”
Although none of the immediate cast maintained relationships, Hart is still connected to some people from her time on Clarissa Explains It All.
“I'm very, very close to the girl who did my wardrobe [on Clarissa],” she said. “Michele [Roofthooft] and her husband David [Roofthooft], who was the executive producer's assistant, they actually got married at the end of the show. And they're still my closest friends, my son's godmother and [god]father.”
Hart and husband Mark Wilkerson have three sons: Mason, Braydon, and Tucker.
