— On3 Recruits (@On3Recruits) April 24, 2025Cantwell would be a massive addition for Georgia in the class of 2026. He’s the No. 1 overall recruit in the country for this high school class, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
The son of a former Olympian (shot-put), Cantwell is listed at 6-foot-7, 300 pounds. He attends Nixa High School in Nixa, Missouri. He’s previously taken multiple visits to Miami, but Georgia getting his final visit before his announcement should give the Bulldogs some confidence going into his commitment.
Georgia is off to a bit of a slow start in the 2026 high school class but its own lofty standards. The Bulldogs have 6 commits so far and a class that ranks No. 27 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Cantwell will announce his commitment on May 13.
