As social media exploded with replays and theories, Junaid Khan made things spicier by quote-tweeting the viral footage and hinting at foul play, suggesting that there is something fishy. Sharing that moment’s clip on his X handle, Junaid captioned the post: “Daal mein kuch kala hai...”

Could the umpire have called Ishan Kishan back?
Meanwhile, the umpire could have called Ishan back after the replay confirmed there was no contact with the ball. The rules say the umpire can stop play and call the batter back if he believes the batter walked off by mistake. This is done by calling a "dead ball" and recalling the batter.
MCC's Law 31.7 states, “An umpire shall intervene if satisfied that a batter, not having been given out, has left the wicket under a misapprehension of being out. The umpire intervening shall call and signal dead ball to prevent any further action by the fielding side and shall recall the batter.
A batter may be recalled at any time up to the instant when the ball comes into play for the next delivery, unless it is the final wicket of the innings, in which case it should be up to the instant when the umpires leave the field.”

Rohit Sharma takes MI home with ease against the SRH
Well, Kishan’s exit triggered a collapse, with Sunrisers Hyderabad crashing to 35/5 and eventually crawling to a modest 143/8. Mumbai Indians easily chased down the target, thanks to Rohit Sharma’s explosive knock of 76 off 46 balls. Before Rohit’s stunning knock, a lethal spell from Trent Boult, who bagged 4 wickets and the Player of the Match award, shattered SRH’s hopes.
It was MI’s successive win in the ongoing IPL 2025. The last time Mumbai won four or more matches in a row was back in 2020, and that year they won the IPL title. That winning streak lasted five games and ended in a dramatic double Super Over match against Punjab Kings in Dubai.
