Days of Our Lives fans were in for a treat over Easter weekend because two of the show's biggest stars got together and posted some photos and a video to wish their fans happy holidays.
In the April 19 video, co-stars and friends Deidre Hall and Susan Hayes recounted their "ladies day" and let fans in on a little secret — that Hayes is an avid bunny collector.
"We've had the loveliest day, playing as we do and eating as we do," said Hall, to which Hayes replied, "Beautiful day. It was a ladies' day. We had a delightful Chinese lunch, and then we went shopping."

"Do people know that you're a bunny collector? Susan is a major-league bunny collector," Hall added.
Hayes shared that she has a giant concrete bunny in her backyard, and then inside, she has 31 glass bunnies scattered throughout her house. She also revealed that she made a special display at work in honor of her late husband Bill Hayes, who played her on-screen husband on Days of Our Lives.
"I have [a bunny collection] at work by Billy's picture in my dressing room. I often thought of him as 'Mr. Bunny,' and he would answer to that, the dear, sweet, patient man that he was," shared Hayes.
Bill and Susan Hayes were married for 50 years until he died in 2024. They starred on Days of Our Lives as Doug and Julie Williams for over 50 years. Bill's final episode on the show aired posthumously in summer 2024.
"If anyone has a real rabbit, give it a little pat and a little extra cabbage from us," said Hayes.
Hall added, "All of you that are celebrating a special holiday this weekend, we wish you the very happiest and hope, as always, that you're with your family and your friends and the people you love most in the world."
In the comments, fans are loving this insight into the actresses' lives.
"Would love to have had lunch with you ladies!! After 52 years of watching DOOL I feel like we are almost family. Happy Easter????," wrote one fan.
Another added, "Two lovely ladies who I admire & always love watching! The vets rule! Happy Easter❤️??."
The two also posted a series of photos on Easter Sunday (April 20) of themselves dressed to the nines for their Easter church service.

"Enjoyed Easter services, featuring extraordinary music. Followed that with an amazing pancake breakfast and wrapped up our morning with an adorable donkey serenade," wrote Hall on the post.
Hall's on-screen daughter Alison Sweeney replied, "Looks fabulous."
