THE ex-girlfriend of Strictly star Jamie Borthwick has told pals he cheated on her during the BBC dance show and tour.

Chloe Strand claimed the EastEnders actor told her he wanted to set up home with her while taking another woman away on holiday.

And he used his pal and Albert Square co-star Dean Gaffney to try to smooth things over, she told pals.

Jamie, 30, who plays Jay Brown in the BBC soap, was busted when a mutual friend of Chloe had dinner with the other woman earlier this month.

The woman said she had been in a long-term relationship with Jamie, who the mutual pal knew was also seeing Chloe.

The woman said they had a break from their relationship but she got back together with Jamie “exclusively” in August.

Devastated Chloe, also 30, told a pal: “Jamie is devious and deceptive.

He told me he loved me and he was planning our future.

“I was seeing him between March last year and earlier this month — but I’ve learnt he was also with another woman from around August.

“I met his friends, including his Strictly pals, on the tour. I was on calls with his family, and he was going to give me a key to his new property, and talked of me cooking him dinner when he got home.

“He’d even chosen the name of the two dogs we were buying together. But the whole time he was declaring love to another woman behind my back. How can anyone behave like this?”

Chloe revealed how Jamie had promised to take her on a trip abroad at the end of the tour in March — but then cancelled it ­saying he was going with his lad pals on a boozy weekend.

Now she has found out that he went to Amsterdam for a romantic break with another woman.

Chloe sobbed to a pal: “He’d been promising we’d head off abroad when he was done with the Strictly tour.

“I felt bad when he moaned at me for suggesting I wouldn’t let him go with his friends. Of course I didn’t mind. But now I know he was with someone else.

“I don’t know how he could be so cruel. It’s pure gaslighting. I’d been with Jamie the two weekends before he went away with someone else.

“When he was in Amsterdam he’d be messaging me, talking about what he was up to with the lads.

“Jamie doesn’t know where the plotlines on EastEnders finish and real life starts. I’m disgusted with him and I hope no other woman falls for his charms.”

Office worker Chloe met Jamie at party spot 100 Wardour Street in central London in March last year.

The actor was out with Dean, 47, who played hapless Robbie Jackson in EastEnders.

Chloe said Dean approached her, offered to buy drinks and asked for her Instagram.

She wasn’t interested and joked: “I prefer your mate.”

Later, Jamie found her on social media.

They started chatting, hit it off, and within weeks were dating.

But she has subsequently learned that Jamie was already seeing someone else — including during his time on Strictly last year.

They had dated for years, but after a brief break, were supposedly “exclusive” since last August.

The extent of Jamie’s two-timing became clear after the cheated women were put in touch by their mutual friend two weeks ago.

Chloe has told pals she and the other woman swapped messages of support and comforted each other after learning of his betrayals.

She says the other woman told her Jamie used Dean to send her mobile phone voice-notes begging her to give Jamie another chance.

And it is claimed former I’m A Celebrity star Dean said that Chloe was merely “a bit on the side” and “nobody that meant anything to Jamie”.

Chloe is also upset that Jamie introduced her to his Strictly pals and other friends.

She told a friend: “I met them and spoke to them. I was with Jamie’s pals in London on New Year’s Eve. The Strictly crowd all welcomed me with open arms every time I saw them.

“Yet I now know they were aware he was seeing someone else, when Jamie invited her to events instead of me.”

Chloe told pals she met Go Compare opera singer Wynne Evans last October while visiting Jamie at the Strictly studios in Elstree.

The pair were always joking around when Jamie would video-call Chloe from the set, telling her how much he loved and missed her.

The Sun on Sunday revealed last week how Jamie and Wynne messed around in a Strictly tour rehearsal room with a sex toy, and messaged Strictly WhatsApp groups with sex chat and videos.

The pair have been caught up in the “spit roast” scandal that ­contributed to Wynne leaving the Strictly tour.

Chloe told a friend: “Knowing what I do now about Jamie’s behaviour, I’m not surprised he’s caught up in all this. He’s very good at deceiving people.

“I can’t imagine it will be the first and last time Jamie cheats. I think there’s probably a lot more women who will come out of the woodwork.”

Chloe refused to comment to The Sun on Sunday. We also asked Jamie to comment.
