TrueCare, a nonprofit community health center serving North San Diego and Riverside counties, is opening its completed Vista Way Health Center.
Located off the CA-78 freeway, the 37,488 square foot space serves as an all-in-one hub for healthcare in North County and provides ample parking, easy access, and a welcoming courtyard, all within walking distance of Tri-City Medical Center next door.
“Our mission at TrueCare remains focused on improving the health status of our diverse communities through providing quality, comprehensive, affordable, and culturally sensitive health care,” said Michelle Gonzalez, CEO of TrueCare. “Through the completion of our Vista Way Health Center, we’re making it easier for individuals and families to get the care they need, when they need it, while ensuring a compassionate and patient-centered experience.”
The Vista Way Health Center has previously been home to TrueCare’s specialty services such as acupuncture and chiropractic care, as well as dental care. With the addition of Primary Care and QuickCare services, the center now offers a full spectrum of services under one roof, streamlining access to essential medical care for individuals and families.
“The expansion of our Vista Way Health Center is an important step in broadening access to high-quality, integrated health care in our communities” said Briana Cardoza, Chief Business Development Officer of TrueCare. “Through the addition of Primary Care and QuickCare, we are now offering a full range of services in one convenient location and creating more opportunities for patients to receive the support they need to lead healthier lives.”
TrueCare’s Primary Care services provide a patient-first approach that focuses on delivering high-quality, consistent care. From highly rated doctors to friendly receptionists who greet patients by name, the center is staffed with compassionate health professionals dedicated to building lasting relationships and meeting patients wherever they are in their health care journey.
TrueCare’s QuickCare delivers same-day and walk-in medical services for non-emergency health concerns, ensuring patients receive the care they need without the stress of an urgent care visit. Available to both existing TrueCare patients and new visitors, QuickCare offers a seamless experience for those in need of immediate, but non-life-threatening, medical attention.
“QuickCare is designed to remove the barriers that often stand between patients and timely medical attention,” said Dr. Devarshi Nath, Clinical Director of QuickCare. “By offering same-day, walk-in access to quality same day acute care, we’re making it easier for people to take charge of their health. Once patients are here, they can be quickly connected to other providers under the same roof, from primary care to dental or specialty services, making the entire experience more efficient.”
Through bringing all services together in one accessible health care campus, TrueCare is also addressing transportation insecurity which is one of the biggest barriers to receiving care. For many patients, the challenge of coordinating multiple appointments at different locations can add unnecessary stress and prevent them from seeking the care they need. The Vista Way Health Center’s comprehensive model helps eliminate these logistical burdens, making it easier for patients to prioritize their health.
