Rajasthan Royals, what is the point of posting Vaibhav Suryavanshi videos smashing Jofra Archer, if you can’t play him? Sanju Samson‘s team lie in the eighth position in IPL 2025 points table, and batting has been their foremost concern. And yet, the team fails to implement changes.
Come Wednesday, perhaps the team could rope in some changes. InsideSport takes a look at RR predicted XI for DC match.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi In, At Least as Impact Sub
Sanju Samson has been RR’s best batter in this year’s IPL, who has scored 193 runs in six matches so far, at an average of 32. Then Yashasvi Jaiswal comes in at with 182 runs, followed by Riyan Parag at 165. It is time for them now, to get Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the XI, or just as Impact Sub. The boy, in his training has shown that he can hit the ball a long mile, and given the current batting struggle, it could be the right move.
Change in the Batting Order for Sanju Samson’s Team?
The problem for RR has been, all their batters have blown hot and cold, with no clear best. That makes, taking calls a little difficult. Now, they don’t have many options in batting left, and can only shuffle around the order a bit. Maybe, they can consider putting Dhruv Jurel in at No. 3, who has been striking at 155 in the tournament. Even Shimron Hetmyer could be given a batting promotion; something needs to change for sure.
RR Predicted XI vs DC: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (C, wk), Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Nitish Rana, Wanindu Hasaranga, Jofra Archer, Maheesh Theekshana, Sandeep Sharma, Tushar Deshpande, Kumar Kartikeya.
