Rain, whose real name is Merry Christmas Raindrop Brown, was charged with burglary in the first degree, malicious mischief in the first degree and criminal trespassing in the second degree.

Josiah was arrested and charged with burglary in the first degree and malicious mischief in the first degree.

Rain and Josiah remained behind bars until their court date on April 14.

The hearing determined probable cause was found for the cases to move forward.

They are both now out of custody.

    RESTRAINING ORDER

The arrest comes months after Rain’s brother Noah and sister-in-law Rhain filed a restraining order against her on August 5, 2024.

The restraining order request was denied.

In the court papers, Noah and Rhain requested “protection from someone who has committed unlawful harassment.”

They accused Rain of “stalking” and checked off that there is a “threat of violence including malicious and intentional threat or presence of firearm/weapon causing substantial emotional distress.”

They requested Rain give up all firearms, including her two handguns, one to two semi-automatic rifles and two shotguns, and be prohibited from obtaining more.

They are also requesting their two sons Elijah, 5, and Adam, 2, be protected from their aunt.

Noah and Rhain, who are now separated, requested Rain “not cause any physical harm, bodily injury, assault” and make “no attempts to have any contact, including non-physical contact, directly, indirectly, or through third parties.”

They requested she not knowingly come within 1,000 feet of the protected persons, their residence, vehicle, school and more.

    FRIGHTENING CLAIMS

In Noah’s Declaration in Support of Motion for Ex Parte Restraining Order, he accused Rain of “using cocaine and meth and consuming alcohol.”

“On or about December 6th, 2023, my mother went to visit Respondent and my mother was offered cocaine for her migraine/headache she was experiencing,” the court filing claimed.

On or about July 19, 2022, Noah explained of an incident that occurred during filming for the Discovery series, “We were in the elevator and [Rain] said something along the lines of ‘my life would be so much easier if you were dead, if only I wouldn’t get caught, I think that my gun is in my room.’”

Noah alleged of another incident, “On or about May 3, 2023, I was helping the family move horses up to NorthStar ranch, one of the horses was malnourished, and because Raindrop and Snowbird wouldn’t listen to me on how to properly transport the animals, one of the horses fell in the trailer and couldn’t get back up on her own.

“When I was telling them what we needed to do to help the horse stand, [Rain] said, ‘Just stop!! We don’t need your help. I would rather the horse die than listen to you! I will kill it myself!! Now go wait in your truck or I will get my gun right now!’

“I waited at my truck the rest of the time, I found out the next day that the horse died.”

In a second Declaration, Noah explained his family has been a “victim” of “unlawful harassment” since his Rhain was introduced to the family on August 15, 2016.

    REQUEST DENIED

A temporary order was denied without a court hearing because of “no basis.”

The explanation by the court read, “The petition lacks sufficient information and is unsupported by a properly [submitted] declaration.

“Petition is essentially blank with references to ‘see declaration of Noah Brown.’

“Further, allegations pertain to incidents that are too remote in time to warrant issuance of a TRO without notice to the respondent.

“There must be sufficient information to support the petition for a TRO to issue or for a hearing to be set.”

According to online records, Noah and Rhain have not re-filed the request.

The U.S. Sun was unable to contact Rain regarding the restraining order request after making multiple requests for comment.

    RAIN’S SIDE

Days after the Petition for Order of Protection request was filed with the court, Rain wrote on Instagram, “How come in a world so harsh it is praised more to be fake [than] it is to be real? Why do I have to pretend I don’t know what the F word is? Or pretend that I am a ‘perfect’ woman?

“Many of you have watched me grow up from a very young child into the strong capable woman I am today, who quite frankly doesn’t give a flying F#€!< about what anyone thinks of me.

“If that sentence offended you and you asked yourself ‘What happened to her?!’ Keep asking that question, maybe one day I’ll write a book.

“But as you go to type your mean comment about what I have to say remember this: What would you do if when you were yourself the world told you ‘you’re not acting like yourself!’ Who would you listen to? Yourself? Or the opinions of others? Have a blessed day everyone… God and Jesus bless and keep you in his everlasting light.”

Rain also revealed she married her boyfriend Josiah and that her siblings did not attend the wedding.

    SHOW CANCELED

The U.S. Sun previously reported Alaskan Bush People has been canceled after 14 seasons.

The show aired on Discovery from 2014 to 2022.

Patriarch Billy’s business partner, Robert Maughon, filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the late star’s estate and business, Alaskan Wilderness Family Productions, in April 2021, just two months after he died in February 2021.

Billy’s wife, Amora “Ami” Brown, is the executor of the estate and a defendant in the case.

Testimony from Ami, taken in April 2024, revealed the show’s current state.

The documents read, “Testimony acknowledging that the show ‘Alaskan Bush People’ ultimately had 14 seasons, with the last season being filmed in 2022.”

Throughout the lawsuit, Alaskan Bush People is referred to in the past tense, as another example reads, “These breaches occurred despite the significant profits generated by [Alaskan Wilderness Family Productions], particularly through the television series ‘Alaskan Bush People’ which was featured on the Discovery Channel network.”

On the Discovery Channel’s media page, Alaskan Bush People is not listed as one of the company’s “properties,” as shows from Naked and Afraid to Gold Rush are included.

While the show is listed on the network’s main page, the network hasn’t posted an update on the series since September 2022.

A rep for Discovery and Ami did not respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.

The lawsuit remains ongoing, as Ami has denied the contract claims in an effort to protect her late husband’s estate.
