Sheinelle Jones has been missing from Today since Dec. 18 and recently, several co-hosts offered an update on her prolonged absence.
In mid-April, Today stars Al Roker, Craig Melvin and Dylan Dreyer addressed Jones' continued hiatus from the third hour of the beloved NBC morning show.

"I just talked to her a couple days ago. As you know, she's taking some time to be with her family and we talk to her all the time," Melvin, 45, told Access Hollywood in an interview published via YouTube on April 12. "We love our girl. It's been nice to see how much everyone else loves her, too."
Roker, 70, interjected, "We're just praying for her."
Meanwhile, Dreyer, 43, explained, "She misses being here. She wishes she was here with us but she's doing what she needs to do. And she'll be back."
On Jan. 15, Jones, 46, finally spoke out after she had been missing from Today for nearly a month.
"I sincerely appreciate all of you who have reached out while I’ve been absent from the show," she wrote on Instagram. "It’s not lost on me how lucky I am to have not only the support of my Today Show family, but to also have all of you. Your kindness means so much to me."
Jones added, "I’ll see you soon."
