Cardi B’s booty shaking left some fans shaking their heads.
Cardi was certainly feeling herself while performing at the Revolve Festival on Saturday, April 12, in Thermal, California. The rapper wore a skin-tight outfit that showed off her ample assets, specifically the booty she began to shake to her 2018 hit song, “I Like It.”
When footage from the invite-only event made its way online to X, fans weighed in on Cardi’s backside. “Show me some natural [explicative],” wrote one fan, while another remarked how her booty had “crazy recoil.” One said she was “trying hard as hell to shake them bricks,” while another accused her of getting Brazilian butt lift.
While some made some other unflattering comments, Cardi had plenty of defenders. A lot of commenters praised her moves.
“We already know Card be dribbling that [explicative] like her ball handling is 95+ overall,” wrote one, comparing her a player in NBA2k and her butt to basketballs. Most said they were “speechless” by her moves and that she was still their “queen.”
The rapper, born Belcalis Almánzar, has been open about her plastic surgery history. However, in October, she responded to those accusing her of getting work done after a video showed her hourglass figure.
“Y’all really need to relax ..This is how my body REALLY LOOKS LIKE,” she wrote, according to Billboard. “My body looks exaggerated in the other video cause I have a 5X faja on…I want yall to think wit yall brain. Y’all was just praising my body couple days ago …do yall think I went and got surgery in 2 days?”
On March 9, Cardi B gave fans a shock when she appeared in a video about some “exciting news.” Those hoping she was about to announce the long-awaited follow-up to her 2018 album, Invasion of Privacy, were left disappointed: Cardi just announced that the trailer for season 5 of Netflix’s series, You, was arriving the next day.
