Fans of The Go-Go's are coming to the band's defense after their Coachella appearance failed to garner the attention that fans feel it deserved.
The “We Got the Beat” singers mashed up their classic hit with Chappell Roan’s “Hot to Go,” with colorful, nearly psychedelic graphics playing on the screen behind them as they performed during the massive music festival, but the crowd’s lackluster reception in a video uploaded to the band’s official TikTok account left fans furious on their behalf.
While the crowd appeared massive in a view from the stage, they could not be heard singing along, and most members barely lifted their hands to follow the band's directions as they played the upbeat, dance-worthy track.
