Phil Collins Sends Fans on an ‘Emotional Rollercoaster’ With Decades-Old Clip

Phil Collins has fans ready to blow through a box of tissues, all thanks to a sweet throwback video he shared on social media.

On Friday, the 74-year-old artist shared a short clip from his First Final Farewell Tour in 2004 with fans on Instagram. In the concert footage, Collins is on stage with his band and performing one of his many iconic hits, "You'll Be in My Heart," which was initially written for Disney's Tarzan five years prior.

The throwback video struck a chord with many of the Genesis artist's followers, with one declaring him an "absolute legend" in the comments.

Collins must be feeling a bit nostalgic for the tour life–despite the toll he said it's taken on his health–as it was only a few days ago that the eight-time Grammy winner shared a "gorgeous" throwback photo with an '80s new wave icon.

Before that, Collins stirred up emotions with a black and white photo he shared featuring another "masterclass" Genesis musician, and he even made fans cry with a reminder from 41 years ago.
