CHIPOTLE has confirmed that all of its 3,679 locations will be shut for a whole day, leaving foodies searching for somewhere else to eat.
The beloved US chain might be gone for 24 hours, but there are still plenty of alternatives open and ready to serve customers.
Chipotle will very soon be leaving its large customer base out to dry for a whole day.
But shoppers will also have to keep an eye out for others, as more big name shut for Easter Sunday on April 20.
KTLA has confirmed that Chipotle is among those big names, joined by others in retail and in the restaurant industry.
Americans looking for something to eat on that day won’t be able to get in everywhere apart from Chipotle.
Chick-fill-A, In-N-Out and Raising Cane’s will also be shut for April 20.
The US Sun recently reported on four major US chains that will also not be open on Easter Sunday.
These include Costco, Target, Aldi and Sam’s Club.
These stores are usually closed for holidays such as Easter Sunday, Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Costco’s website confirms the move which might leave shoppers scratching their heads on where else to go.
Sam’s Club is also following the move, as well as Target and Aldi, as reported by The US Sun recently.
A spokesperson for Target said of the temporary shutdown: “Guests can expect regular store hours on April 19 and can check Target.com or the Target app for local store information.”

Popular restaurants like Olive Garden and Denny’s will also stay open.
And there are also big fast food options still on the table, such as McDonald’s, Pizza Hut and Burger King.
