Mizzou forward Josh Gray is entering the transfer portal, On3 reported on Wednesday afternoon.
The 7-foot senior from Brooklyn averaged 3.2 points and 5.3 rebounds in 33 games for Missouri this past season, helping the Tigers go 22-12 overall and 10-8 in a historically good SEC. Gray also helped Mizzou earn one of the conference’s record 14 NCAA Tournament berths.

But this news is definitely out of the ordinary, because Gray has played in 131 combined games with 3 SEC programs from 2020-25 — he made previous stops at South Carolina and LSU — and is out of eligibility, according to Eli Hoff, who covers the Tigers for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Hoff tweeted shortly after the announcement that he doesn’t believe Gray “has any eligibility remaining (and a team source agrees), so it’s probably a longshot bid that more eligibility could be handed out somehow.”
