The Los Angeles Dodgers are off to a red hot start this season as they defend their World Series title while earning the longest winning streak by a reigning champion to start a season. But there’s another reason Dodger fans love coming to the home field, and that’s all the delicious food at Dodger Stadium’s various concession stands.
There are of course the always popular staples like Dodger Dogs, the Nacho Helmets, burgers, pizzas and other longtime favorites on the menu this season. And in addition to that this year there are several dishes that made their MLB debut at the start of the season that the stadium chef hopes will help redefine ballpark food.
“We want to push the envelope when it comes to giving our fans an experience. The main event is the game but why not enjoy some great food while you’re here,” said Christine Gerriets, the executive chef at the stadium who came up with the new items on the Dodger menu.
So for those who are heading to the stadium to cheer on the boys in blue, here are the new dishes available for 2025 during home games and where you can find them.

This Japanese fried chicken sandwich was created last season as a special dish but didn’t make it onto the regular menu until now. It’s been elevated for its debut as a regular menu item with smoky applewood bacon, arugula, kewpie mayo, avocado spread and tomato served on a Texas toast. It’s a double decker sandwich, so be ready to squeeze it in order to get your mouth around it. “It’s an overall well balanced sandwich and yes, it’s pretty big,” the chef said.

This is another example of simple is better since it’s a basic burger with American cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles with a mustard and mayo mixed that one of the chefs’ personal favorites. “Honestly it is one of the best items that we have at the stadium this season. It’s a very filling burger. People are just going to want to keep coming back for more,” she said.
Korean Fried Chicken Bowl

This crispy Korean fried chicken is tossed in a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce, served over jasmine rice and topped with slaw and furikake. “You’re going to get this sweetness and then a spicy kick at the end. It’s a hardy dish and something different for our fans,” Gerriets said.

And batting cleanup in the food lineup this year is the massive Slugger. This dish is a one-pound, 16-inch long jalapeño cheddar sausage topped with corn relish, white Cheddar cheese sauce, cilantro crema, and crunchy tortilla strips served on a bun with fries. “I wanted a wow factor and I think I got it with this one,” Gerriets said.
Loaded BBQ Baked Potato
Location: Think Blue BBQ in the left field pavilion near section 51 and at the King’s Hawaiian stand near section 32
This colossal potato was a special postseason item last year and now it got the call to the majors’ starting lineup. And it’s another filling dish that’s topped with smoked brisket, mac and cheese, BBQ sauce, red peppers, fried onions, scallions and butter. “We really want you to take a nap after the game. If you’re not rolled out of here in a food coma we did something wrong,” the chef joked.
Fresh Funnel Cake

If you still have room for dessert, get yourself a sugar rush with this crispy and golden-brown cake that’s dusted with powdered sugar, drizzled with chocolate syrup and topped with whipped cream. “It’s like being at a fair,” Gerriets said.
