TOM Brady got snubbed for a major Emmy award, but a Fox colleague he replaced for his current NFL game analyst role did get nominated.
The New England Patriots legend will be in year 2 of his 10-year, $375 million broadcasting contract with Fox Sports in the 2025 NFL season.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Brady wasn’t nominated in the Outstanding Personality/Event Analyst category for the 2025 Sports Emmy Awards.
Instead, the 47-year-old watched Greg Olsen get the nod for the category.
Brady replaced Olsen as the network’s top color commentator for the 2024 season.
The Carolina Panthers legend Olsen was nominated in the category for the fourth straight year.
He was nominated alongside Troy Aikman, Peyton Manning, Bill Raftery, and John Smoltz.
Brady had a tough start to his rookie season calling games for Fox, as he was paired with play-by-play broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion rebounded in a big way and received positive feedback from fans for his broadcasting performances during playoff games, including Super Bowl 59 in February.
Olsen, meanwhile, was demoted to Fox Sports’ No. 2 team and worked alongside Joe Davis.
He won the Outstanding Personality/Event Analyst category at the Sports Emmys last year and will look to win for the third time in total.
“Honored to be nominated for my 4th consecutive @TheEmmys,” Olsen posted on X.
“Congrats to everyone nominated. Some big time names!!”
Olsen has given Brady his flowers since being replaced by him.
The 40-year-old doesn’t have animosity toward Brady after speaking to him before the 2024 season and doesn’t see him as a broadcasting rival.
“I want him to do well. I want him to succeed. I want him to feel I’m a good teammate,” Olsen told The Athletic last September.
“It’s no different than if he came into the locker room with I was a player and we happened to play in the same position.

“But I’ve talked to Joe about this – I want people to think that Joe and I are the best crew on television. It doesn’t matter that we are the B crew.”
Brady will get ready to be in year two of his broadcasting career this fall.
He will also be in year two of being a co-owner for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Brady’s three years removed from his legendary career as an NFL quarterback.
