Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are taking a break from the spotlight — and they are reportedly very intentional with their "private time" together.
According to a People source, the couple — who have been dating since late summer 2023 — are using their time away from the public eye to make "the most of their time off together."
"They've been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it," the insider said. "They are hanging out with friends, too. It's a special time for them."
The pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 35, are "very serious and in sync," the source noted. "They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight."
Their break from the world stage comes after nearly two years of the public following their every move — ever since Kelce revealed that he tried to give Swift his number at her July 2023 ErasTour date at Arrowhead Stadium. Since then, the "Guilty as Sin?" singer has publicly shown her support for the NFL star in every major way possible, from attending every Chiefs home game during the 2024-2025 season and watching him play at two consecutive Super Bowls.
Kelce, for his part, traveled to numerous countries to support Swift on her record-breaking Eras Tour, even making a surprise appearance onstage at one of her London shows in 2024. The pair have also been spotted packing on the PDA in front of cameras at Chiefs games as well as in New York City.
Their most recent outings occurred in March, once when they were spotted dining together in NYC, and another where they spent time in Park City, Utah.
As for what Swift has said about their public romance, the couple "actually had a significant amount of time [early on] that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other," she told Time Magazine in December 2023.
The 14-time Grammy winner knows "All Too Well" about how to balance her private time with Kelce while also boldly — and proudly — showing the world their love and support for each other.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift told the outlet. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
