The team name is written on the front in bold white letters with a purple and orange highlight around it.
It is a complete contrast to the style of the standard Giants jersey.
And many fans are far from pleased.
One person took to X to write: “These are genuinely the worst city connects in the league.”
Another commented: “Did they design this on WordArt? Terrible.”
A third joked: “More like, one GIANT step backwards, am I right guys?”
A fourth said: “Looks like a jersey that would hang in a Chuck-E-Cheese as a ticket prize.”
While a fifth wrote: “Might be hands down one of the worst jerseys I’ve ever seen in my life.”
However, others were quick to disagree.
One fan said: “People really have a problem with these?? They’re much better than most of the new releases imo.”
Another wrote: “These are amazing top 5 imo.”
While a third commented: “Those are not as terrible as people are making them out to be lol.”
The Giants teamed up with Bay Area music artists for their latest uniform.
It is a tribute to the sounds and energy of the city’s music scene.
The new hat also has white writing with orange and purple detailing.
