Pizza Hut is hopping on the latest trend with its surprising and ultra-exclusive "indulgent" new release.
The beloved chain of pizza shops just unboxed a "first-of-its-kind" menu innovation that it said takes a fine dining trend and turns it "into something completely unexpected." (We would also argue it's something we never knew we needed).

Beginning later this week–and for an extremely limited time–Pizza Hut is launching its own "Pizza Caviar," and before you even ask, no, there's nothing fishy about it.
"Inspired by the rise of 'caviar bumps,' these bite-sized Pizza Caviar pearls are made to taste like pepperoni and designed for dipping, dunking, and bumping," according to an official press release. "Crafted to replicate the look and feel of traditional caviar–without the fish–Pizza Caviar delivers a bold, smoky pepperoni flavor in a fun new form."
The brand's Pizza Caviar is also the star of its brand-new "Pizza Caviar Bump Box," described as "a luxe, limited-time twist on My Hut Box®, Pizza Hut's signature combo meal." It includes one cheese Personal Pan Pizza and a choice of three plain boneless wings or fries, all of which are "topped with bursts of pepperoni-flavored 'Pizza Caviar.'"
"As a brand that's always pushing the boundaries of what pizza culture can be, we saw an opportunity to take one of today's biggest food trends and make it our own," said Pizza Hut CMO Melissa Friebe in a statement. "Pizza Caviar is our way of bringing a touch of indulgence, while staying true to the flavors people love from Pizza Hut."
Those interested in seeing what the Pizza Caviar Bump Box is all about, will have to be in or around New York City this Thursday, April 10, through Saturday, April 12, specifically between the hours of 4 and 8 p.m. local time (or while supplies last), as we're told the only restaurant to have them is the Pizza Hut located at 932 8th Avenue.
