You’re about to be out of luck if you’re trying to get supplies from Lowe’s later this month.
However, it’s for a good reason– the home improvement store is shutting its doors for one full day to give employees a chance to spend time with their families on a holiday.

Marvin Ellison, Lowe’s chairman and CEO, is closing all 1,700 locations on April 20 so that staff can spend the Easter holiday with family and friends, reports Newsweek.
“I'm extremely proud of the commitment of our 300,000 associates who support our communities while providing excellent customer service not only in spring – but all year-round,” said Ellison.
The executive continued, stating, “In recognition of our teams' continued hard work, we are pleased to provide a well-deserved day off so they can spend Easter with their loved ones.”
Shoppers will be able to go to Lowe’s during regularly scheduled hours on April 19, and again on April 21, and Lowes.com will function as normal on the 20th.
Lowe’s isn’t the only big store shutting its doors on Easter, as close to 2,000 Target locations will similarly close on Easter Sunday. Other stores joining those ranks include Costco, Sam’s Club, and Macy’s.
