Australian cricketer Will Pucovski announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Tuesday. His decision to call it a day comes months after he suffered his 13th concussion. Earlier, reports had claimed that Cricket Australia was expected to prevent the young batter from playing in the future. However, Pucovski has finally made his decision.

Speaking on SEN radio, Pucovski announced that he will not be playing cricket at any level again.
“I wish I was coming in maybe under better circumstances. I’m not going to be playing cricket again. It’s been a really difficult year to put it as simply as possible,” Pucovski said.
History of Concussions:
Prior to his Test debut in 2021, Pucovski had suffered seven concussions, impacting his development and consistency. He managed only one Test against India, scoring 72 runs. Pucovski returned to cricket in October 2023 but faced another setback in January after experiencing concussion symptoms from a second XI match.
