With less than a week before the start of this year’s Coachella Music Festival, Ed Sheeran and Weezer have been added to the lineup while FKA Twigs has announced she’s canceled due to visa problems.
Weezer has been added to the first Saturday afternoon of the festival, April 12, in the Mojave tent, while Sheeran will fill that spot during the festival’s second Saturday, April 19, according to schedules posted on the official Coachella website.

FKA Twigs was originally set to play the festival on Friday, April 11 and 18, but has had to bow out.
The British artists posted on social media on April 4, “im devastated to share the news that due to ongoing visa issues i am not able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of april across north america, including ceremonia and coachella,” FKA Twigs posted.
“it pains me to say this because i am so excited to bring you a creation that i have poured my soul into and i believe is amongst my strongest work and i know this news impacts so many of you that have already made plans and spent money in order to see these shows. i promise that i am working to reschedule the affected dates as quickly as possible. for headline shows, please refer to your point of purchase for details and refund information. back to you all with more updates as soon as i have them.”
Brazilian performer Anitta also dropped out of the festival back in March due to “unexpected personal reasons,” per a post on her social media accounts.
Lady Gaga, Green Day, Travis Scott and Post Malone are still on tap to headline the festival over April 11-13 and April 18-20 weekends at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif.
