Thee are just four days to go before Celebrity Big Brother returns to TV screens and a new cohort of famous faces enter the iconic house for weeks of nominations, shopping tasks and plenty of drama.

While ITV are yet to officially announce who will step into the infamous villa, the rumour mill has been sent into overdrive as a number of celebrities names have been thrown in the mix.

Kick starting on Monday 7th April, it won’t be long before the cast is unveiled.

This year’s cohort of celebrities will be following in the footsteps of reigning champion David Potts, who took home the crown last year in truly iconic fashion.

So, who is rumoured to be taking part in Celebrity Big Brother 2025? Read on to find out more!

Michael Fabricant

Age: 74

Job: Former MP

Michael Fabricant is a politician and former MP for Lichfield. He was previously the vice-chairman of the Conservative Party during the 2015 general election and the parliamentary by-elections.

A source told MailOnline of his signing: “He doesn’t hold back, he’s going to be compulsive viewing, we can’t wait. We wanted a top politician but one with enormous personality which would entertain the viewers.”

Chesney Hawkes

Age: 53

Job: Singer

Chesney Hawkes is a singer who first rose to fame at 19 years old when his song The One and Only appeared in Buddy’s Song.

He has appeared in a number of TV shows and movies, including Hollyoaks, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Prince Valiant.

“It’s perfect timing for Chesney too as he’s releasing a comeback album in April,” a source said.

Patsy Palmer

Age: 52

Job: Actress and DJ

Patsy Palmer is an actress and DJ, best known for her portrayal of Bianca Jackson on EastEnders. After having left the soap in 2014, the actress has returned for various stints in 2024 and 2025.

She is currently appearing on the soap alongside her sister Sonia Jackson (Natalie Cassidy) as she grieves the loss of Martin Fowler (James Bye) following the soap’s devastating 40th anniversary.

JoJo Siwa

Age: 21

Job: Singer

JoJo Siwa is a singer and dancer who rose to fame during her appearance on Dance Moms. Following that, she appeared on a number of Nickelodeon TV shows and films and soon began releasing her own music.

A source said: “JoJo is a big name among the highly-coveted younger audience and brings with her a big US fan base. JoJo certainly isn’t afraid to speak up and is expected to be one of the more controversial names in the pack.”

Donna Preston

Age: 38

Job: Actress

Mickey Rourke

Age: 72

Job: Actor

Oscar-nominated actor Mickey Rourke is also tipped to appear on the reality series. It was his role as Randy ‘The Ram’ Robinson in The Wrestler that saw him nominated for an Oscar along with a Golden Globe and BAFTA win.

Trisha Goddard

Age: 67

Job: TV presenter

Trisha Goddard is a TV presenter best known for her talk show Trisha that aired on ITV and Channel 5. In 2010, she moved to the US and worked on Maury and The Trisha Goddard Show.

Angellica Bell

Age: 48

Job: TV presenter

Angellica Bell is a TV and radio presenter, who first started out presenting on CBBC for six years from 2000.

Since then, she has gone on to present on The One Show, The Martin Lewis Money Show and has taken part in Celebrity Masterchef, which she won in 2017.

“Angellica is an excellent booking by ITV,” a source told The Sun. “She’s one of the most recognisable faces in UK TV thanks to crossing over from children’s TV to primetime shows like The One Show and Martin Lewis.

“Angellica isn’t afraid to speak her mind either. I can’t imagine she will hold back if things kick off in there.”

Danny Beard

Age: 32

Job: Drag Queen and singer

Danny Beard is a Drag Queen and singer who rose to prominence on season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

Over their career, Danny has also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, Karaoke Club: Drag Edition and also made cameo appearances during the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 and on Hollyoaks.

The Sun has reported Danny has signed up for the new series, with a source telling the publication: “Danny is hilarious and witty yet also great to be around. They’re going to make a great housemate for viewers and the other celebs alike.”

Paul Chuckle

Age: 77

Job: Comedian

Paul Chuckle, real name Paul Elliott, is a comedian who is best known as being one-half of comedy double act The Chuckle Brothers with his brother Barry. The pair rose to fame following their programme ChuckleVision. Sadly, Barry Elliott died in August 2018.

More recently, Paul appeared on The Madame Blanc Mysteries as Trevor.

It was rumoured last year that Paul was potentially in talks to appear on Celebrity Big Brother, with a source saying at the time: “It’s early days as the Big Brother team is still busy with October’s civilian series but Paul’s name is in the mix for the celeb version in March.”

Annie Kilner

Age: 33

Job: Influencer

Annie Kilner is a social media influencer, married to AC Milan footballer Kyle Walker. The Sun has reported Annie wants to appear in the series as she “finally wants to be the one who talks about her marriage”.

Chris Hughes

Age: 32

Job: TV personality

Chris Hughes rose to fame following his appearance on Love Island in 2017, with many remembering his bromance with former winner Kem Cetinay.

Since appearing on the reality series, Chris has thrown himself into sport and played football for Bourton Rovers FC, as well as cricket for his local cricket team Bourton Vale CC.

In the years since, Hughes has gone on to present horse racing coverage for ITV Racing, as well as BBC Sport coverage of The Hundred.

Last month, it was reported that Hughes was in talks with show bosses to appear on Celebrity Big Brother, with one celebrity supposedly referencing the signing.

During a recent episode of Saving Grace, GK Barry told guest Trewley Precious: “I know someone who’s going in… He’s a bit of you. He’s a bit dorky, he loves horses.” Which has led fans to assume she was talking about Hughes.

Daley Thompson

Age: 66

Job: Former decathlete

Daley Thompson is a former Olympian who broke the world record for the decathlon four times and was an unbeaten champion for nine years.

Across his career, Thompson was regarded as one of the greatest decathletes of all time.

A source told The Sun that he would be going into the Celebrity Big Brother house and would be seen as a great signing for “a generation of older viewers”.

Jack P Shepherd

Age: 37

Job: Actor

Jack P Shepherd is an actor best known for his role as David Platt in Coronation Street and is one of two soap stars rumoured to be taking part in Celebrity Big Brother 2025.

In scenes currently airing on the soap, David has been involved in a car crash and is rushed to hospital for life-saving treatment, with fans theorising that David could go to prison or be in a coma, which would allow for a brief stint on the reality series.

The Sun notes that he would be following in the footsteps of fellow Corrie star and good friend Colson Smith, who took part last year.

James Bye

Age: 41

Job: Actor

James Bye is the other soap star to be rumoured for Celebrity Big Brother, with the actor recently bowing out of EastEnders after his character was killed off during the soap’s 40th anniversary special.

However, as with all the rumours, this should be taken with a pinch of salt as the actor is about to star in Death Comes to Pemberley as of 1st May.

Ella Rae Wise

Age: 24

Job: TV personality

Ella Rae Wise is an influencer and TV personality who appears on The Only Way Is Essex.

A source told The Sun that producers are apparently hoping she’ll “bring a lot of fresh viewers with her” as one of the youngest housemates.
