The past five weeks of Survivor 48 have been chock full of drama. We've had conflict at Tribal Council, unprecedented votes, game-ending journeys, incredible plays with advantages, and one of the most heartfelt scenes in the show's history. And this week, we got our first taste of the individual game, as the remaining 13 castaways came together at least. And given the dramatic nature of the season, it's no surprise that rivalries were quickly formed, and a new alliance emerged behind the scenes.Check out spoilers about tonight's episode below and find out who was voted out.Related: Everything to Know About Survivor 48
Who got voted off on Survivor 48 tonight?
Charity NelmsRobert Voets/CBS
For the majority of her game, flight attendant Charity was able to play on autopilot. She was able to benefit from being on winning tribes, getting to avoid the vote while simultaneously building bonds that will hopefully have her fly through to the end of the game. What Charity didn't realize, however, was how on the outs she was. While she struck up a close bond with Mitch, the rest of Civa was aligned against her, spurred along by Kamilla throwing her under the bus for gaming too hard too fast. And that attitude moved over to her new tribe, where Eva found her untrustworthy and "fake." When the merge hit, Charity hit the ground running, initially wanting to take out Eva due to her public idol. However, she eventually eased up, hoping that her Civas would get her through to the jury. Unfortunately, that was quite a charitable read. Instead, the rest of the tribe split their votes between outsiders Charity and Sai, choosing to boot the former to splinter the Civa alliance.
Yes! As we saw last season, the merge opened up with the 13 players scrambling through the jungle looking for an advantage. Sai was able to get it, snatching it just ahead of charity. That earned her a spot in the individual portion of the Immunity Challenge, meaning she did not need to compete in the grueling team portion.Related: Meet the Full Cast of Survivor 48
