Former Arizona State and NFL pass rusher Terrell Suggs was sentenced to 18 months of probation for disorderly conduct on Tuesday following his arrest in Scottsdale a year prior.
Suggs must also complete 100 hours of community service and attend anger management, among other requirements. He cannot consume alcohol while on probation.
There is a chance he can get his sentence reduced to nine months if he meets the proper requirements. He could also face up to two years in prison if he violates any of the terms of his probation.
“I’m just ready to get on with my life,” Suggs told the judge. “This has been hanging over me for a year. It was a momentary bad decision.”
The decision comes after Suggs pleaded guilty to a reduced disorderly conduct charge after a March 2024 incident at a Starbucks drive-thru in Scottsdale.
According to the Scottsdale Police Department, Suggs made contact with the victim’s vehicle in the drive-thru lane. A verbal confrontation ensued between the two.
