Liza Minnelli outlives not having a RuPaul's Drag Race lifetime achievement award! The Cabaret star and EGOT-winning icon received the Giving Us Lifetime Achievement Award from RuPaul during the taping of the show's Season 17 finale, which will air on April 18.

Minnelli, 79, has long been a gay icon. But she surprisingly hasn't appeared on Drag Race before now, although she's been impersonated by a number of drag queens on the show, most notably Alexis Michelle during the Season 9 Snatch Game.

The Giving Us Lifetime Achievement Award is just another trophy to add to Minnelli's already crowded mantle. She's won an Oscar (Cabaret), an Emmy (Liza with a Z), three Tony Awards (Flora the Red Menace, The Act, Liza's at The Palace...) and a Grammy Legend Award. As the daughter of Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli, she's been a showbiz staple since the 1950s and has appeared in projects like New York, New York, The King of Comedy and Sex and the City 2.
Fans will be able to see Minnelli receive her award from RuPaul during the Season 17 finale on Friday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET on MTV. During the finale, RuPaul will also crown America's Next Drag Superstar, with Sam Star, Onya Nurve, Jewels Sparkles, Lexi Love and Suzie Toot still in the competition.
RuPaul's Drag Race airs exclusively on MTV.
