A REPORT has been revealed about Aaron Rodgers and his potential hint on a Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback decision.
The four-time NFL MVP Rodgers reportedly worked out with a Steelers star wide receiver over the weekend.
After meeting with the Steelers earlier this month, Rodgers appeared to show the steps of making a final decision.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported that Rodgers and the Steelers’ new wideout DK Metcalf took part in a workout at UCLA over the weekend.
The report added that the session hasn’t led to a change in whether Rodgers signs with the Steelers.
However, the longtime quarterback has worked to “check all the boxes” as a free agent, per Garafolo.
Metcalf was traded to the Steelers earlier this month and later signed a five-year, $150 million contract with the franchise.
The news of Rodgers’ on-field workout with Metcalf comes hours after Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed the team’s meeting with the 41-year-old.
Tomlin said it was a good visit with Rodgers but didn’t share much on where things sit with the 20-year NFL veteran.
“It was really good to spend some time together man and get to know each other more intimately, but it is free agency,” Tomlin said, per ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.
“It is a process. I have nothing of any more significance to add other than that.”
Tomlin also revealed there isn’t a deadline for the franchise to make on Rodgers.
Other than the Steelers, the New York Giants were linked with Rodgers.
But they have signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston to contracts.
The Steelers seem to be the only team to be a fit for Rodgers, who was reportedly interested in signing with the Minnesota Vikings, who have expressed their faith in JJ McCarthy.
However, the possibility of Rodgers retiring hasn’t been ruled out by reporters, including ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Steelers currently have two quarterbacks on their roster in Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson.

They reportedly met with Alabama prospect Jalen Milroe and are reportedly set to meet with Ole Miss’s Jaxson Dart.
“I don’t know if we are identifying anything as Plan A, Plan B or Plan C,” Tomlin said about the team’s quarterback plans.
“We’re just simply looking at the field of available people, whether it’s free agency or the draft and making decisions and gathering information accordingly.”
Rodgers threw 28 passing touchdowns and 11 interceptions with the New York Jets in 2024.
He was released by the team earlier this month.
