Terry Bradshaw’s Fox NFL Sunday salary revealed after broadcast legend makes major retirement decision

TERRY Bradshaw has two years remaining on a Fox Sports deal which has seen him become a broadcast icon.

Bradshaw, 76, stunned his colleagues by revealing he has a date in mind for when he’d like to retire.

    The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has been with Fox since 1994.

    He has been a huge part of the network’s NFL success has been well compensated in return.

    He currently earns around $5 million per season to star on Fox NFL Sunday.

    Bradshaw might only have two years remaining on his contract.

    But he revealed at the Super Bowl last month that he has his sights on a longer stay.

    The former quarterback said, “I told my wife before I left the room a while ago, I’m sitting there, I said, ‘I’ve got two years left at FOX. I’m 76’.

    “Okay, so it’s a young man’s game. I get that. Everybody wants the new.

    “And so I said, ‘If we can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80. That’s, I think that’s time’.

    “80 years old, that’s pushing it.”

    Bradshaw’s contract allows him to perform trophy presentations, like he did to the Philadelphia Eagles this year.

    Fox broadcasts the NFC Championship Game every year and the 76-year-old is often on stage to greet the winning team.

    Bradshaw climbed onto the stage at the Superdome in New Orleans after Super Bowl LIX.

    He presented the Philadelphia Eagles with the Vince Lombardi Trophy after their 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

    The broadcasting icon has battled a number of health issues in recent years.

    More than 127 million Americans tuned in for Super Bowl LIX on Fox last month.

    But Bradshaw’s presentation left some of them worried.

    His hand was visibly shaking as he interviewed Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts.

    “Terry Bradshaw needs to retire,” one fan said.

    “I think this is a good time for Terry Bradshaw to end on a high note. Time for official retirement,” another fan said.

    “Terry Bradshaw is shaking up there… you good?” a third fan said.

    “Terry Bradshaw needs to retire. He’s shaking and asking crazy questions,” a fourth fan said.
